Scientific trends at the interfaces
ISCD Summer Schools “Scientific Trends at the Interfaces” seek to promote academically motivated young students by strengthening their methodological understanding in linking theory and numerical experiments. They convey the excitement of new progress in computational sciences through the stimulus of learning.
The school is designed to train and attract undergraduates (L3-M2) interested by working at the interfaces between disciplines. Courses and tutorials are designed and taught by highly regarded scholars in an optimal learning environment.
Learning objectives
The summer school course is a unique four weeks experience. The course focuses upon showing how the theoretical concepts can applied to other disciplines or domains.
The summer program offers participants a wide range of topics from theoretical to applied sciences, from mathematics and computer sciences to medicine and biology or archeology. Students are challenged with interesting academic concepts and are encouraged to explore the current issues of their chosen disciplines. Students are expected to be familiar with the core concepts of the summer programme.
